Everytime you swap its production for 2,000 denars, you're then making like maybe 150-300 a day for a in-game week and then 0 profit again. It's likely your not making a profit at all. Caravans are much better than a workshop right now if you're not actively in constant war that is haha!

Early game just kill looters and sell prisoners and loot. Then bet on yourself in tournaments. Sell the prizes, especially the noble mounts. Keep that up till about 25k gold then find a companion with good trade stats and have them create an enhanced caravan. That money should roll your party unti clan tier 3.
For workshops, try changing them to tanners. They seems to be the one with the most consistent income. All of my workshops produce 300 or more and they're just all tanners. This, you don’t need to give them leather and even in the worst city’s Ill still make 250+ a day. This worked until the new patch.
they're bugged in this version, await patch fix. Yes, they are bugged. That's why I have six workshops bringing in a total of over 2000 denars a day. You just need to learn how to use them. do not become king, if you are still beggar. have 5 millions, id say more, then do it. now? get down to smithy and start melting stuff. javelins is easiest to open. last jav blade will sell for 14k+ per piece. easy money. very easy money.

Description. A simple yet an effective mod, it currently adds 564 historically inspired symbols and around 50 colors to the banner editor. Banner icons ID groups go from 1000-1036 atm, and as such should be compatible with other banner icons mods, that have group IDs in 3 digits mostly.
