Boeing 737 MAX. The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body aircraft produced by Boeing at its Everett and Renton factories in Washington . Developed to supplement the Boeing 727 on short and thin routes, the twinjet retains the 707 fuselage width and six abreast seating but with two underwing turbofans instead of four.

You're bound to find yourself on one of them. The A320 family includes the smaller A318 and A319 and larger A321; the 737s flying today come in models numbered from 737-200 to -900, plus the currently grounded MAX series. And all else equal, in the same class of service, I'd choose the Airbus jet over the Boeing. Here's why. Wider cabins

Dr Gareth Evans reports on how engine manufacturers for aircraft such as the A320neo and Boeing's 737 MAX have taken on the challenge of meeting soaring performance and efficiency targets. Nexcelle are working in close cooperation with GE Aviation on the integrated propulsion system for the new Passport 20 engine, which will power the

The -800 has been in service since 1998, with 4,991 deliveries as of February 28, 2019. See here: What is the difference between Boeing 73G, 73H and 737? 73H - Boeing 737-800 with winglets (8th letter of the alphabet)
While the 737-700 has a maximum payload of 42,000 lb (19,000 kg), the 737-800, after conversion, will be able to carry a payload of 50,000 lb (22,680 kg). This enables the -800BCF to carry 19% more payload, and because of the larger fuselage, the aircraft will have 40% more load space than its smaller variant.
April 22, 2023. 3 minutes read. DALLAS — The Boeing 737 MAX has been at the center of one of the biggest crises in aviation history, following two fatal crashes that resulted in the grounding of the entire fleet. Despite this, the 737 MAX remains one of the most popular aircraft in the world, with a rich history and a vast network of The Boeing 737-800 has a length of 39.62 meters or 130 feet. The Boeing 777-200 has a length of 64 meters or 209.97 feet. Therefore, the Boeing 777-200 is 24.38 meters longer than the Boeing 737-800. Height. The height of an aircraft is measured from the ground to the tallest point on the tail. The Boeing 737-800 has a height of 12.5 meters or

All 737 variants have shorter fuselages than the A321. The shortest 737 was the original 737-100 at 29m, and the longest will be the 737MAX10 at almost 44m. The 737 wingspan has varied from around 28m to 36m. The 737 fuselage width has remained constant throughout at around 3.8m, slightly narrower than the A321.

While I'm not sure that their average use cases are very different for aircraft of the same age, there are far more old 737s than old A320s. A lot of the 737 fleet already had flown many cycles before the first A320 ever rolled out of the factory. The average 737 is significantly older than the average A320 and, thus, has flown more flight cycles.
